Resident Evil (2002)
Resident Evil is a 2002 science-fiction horror and action film directed and written by Paul W. S. Anderson. The movie is loosely based on Capcom’s popular Resident Evil video game series.
The story follows Alice, an amnesiac woman who joins an elite military team to investigate a secret underground laboratory known as The Hive. After a deadly virus infects the facility, the team must fight zombies, mutated creatures and a powerful artificial intelligence called the Red Queen before the infection spreads outside.

Movie Description
A deadly biological virus breaks out inside The Hive, a secret research facility operated by the Umbrella Corporation. The facility’s artificial intelligence system seals the laboratory to contain the infection, killing everyone trapped inside.
Alice wakes up with no memory of her past. Soon, she is taken into The Hive by a special military unit led by James “One” Shade. As the team moves through the abandoned facility, they discover that the scientists have transformed into flesh-eating zombies and terrifying mutated creatures.
With time running out, Alice and the survivors must find a way to escape The Hive, recover the antivirus and stop the T-virus from spreading. As Alice begins to regain her memories, she uncovers a dangerous connection between herself, Umbrella Corporation and the outbreak.
